Can Dogs Have Nightmares?
This morning I woke up like normal (okay, I slept in a little) and my little snuggledog Brewster woke up with me like usual.
From the moment he got out of bed he was just off this morning. He was stuck to my side sniffing the air and looking nervous. When I showered he was pressed to the outside of the washroom door and he was panting hard and wouldnt eat his breakfast tail between his legs the whole time.
I checked him all over to see if he seemed hurt or flinched but that wasnt it.
When I came home from work he was still in this state. Shaking violently, tail between legs, sniffing the air stuck to my side.
So I called him up to my lap, cuddled with him and gave him some treats and he relaxed and now seems almost 100% better.
So what happened? I have no idea. My best guess would be nightmare.
