I'm a Cooking Machine
There are a number of things that I like doing to relax and calm myself down. Walking the dogs, drawing (not necessarily well), teaching myself how to sew... but I really enjoy cooking.
Whether it's improvising or following a recipe - it's the perfect blend of creativity and science. Plus you get something tasty at the end.
For a short time I tried to write a cooking blog. However I didn't keep it up. See, I hadn't really told anyone about it and I realized no one was reading it and got a bit discouraged.
So, I have a bunch of pictures of some of these cooking ventures... so I thought I might throw some in here.
Just know if you ever come to my home I'm going to cook for you and I'm going to enjoy doing it. I spend so much time cooking for one that I love having people over to enjoy it with me.
This was a tasty pasta dish made with broccoli and, strangly enough, potato to make it extra starchy and comforting!
This is a spicy sweet potato and chorizo soup (it tasted a lot better than it looked).
A yummy and interesting fruit smoothie made with cashews blended into it.
Meatloaf cooked with a tomato chickpea sauce and bacon anyone?
Finally - I call this my "Toronto Riot" cheesecake because I baked it while watching 10 hours straight of G20 footage and yelling at my television set.
So if you're coming to my place - just let me know first and I'll have something tasty and yummy for you!

(gez you are so the better cook than I)
I must say, those are some very appetizing dishes.
