A friend of mine was trying to organize a silent auction for her chemo treatments and medical bills. I offered to auction off myself, but then felt one of our friends would fetch a higher price. He said, "no." Honestly, I think pimping him out would have helped tremendously.
I'm been to farm auctions (the ones with the fast-talking auctioneers). I can't say that a horse, or a tractor, would fit inside of a birdhouse. But, what do I know?

The last time I played D&D was this past summer. A friend of mine set up a D20 modern game for me to play. It was set in an urban landscape--a pulp detective story, in which I was the detective. The trail led me to a black magic sorceress, and her zombie lover. Fortunately, I aimed for the head, and my saving throw saved my life. It was fun. What's even better--I hadn't played in years, proved I still got it. I didn't get killed once.
You may have seen this before, but it is worth repeating.
The last time I played D&D was this past summer. A friend of mine set up a D20 modern game for me to play. It was set in an urban landscape--a pulp detective story, in which I was the detective. The trail led me to a black magic sorceress, and her zombie lover. Fortunately, I aimed for the head, and my saving throw saved my life. It was fun.
