I think I have found a bird for my Conure who last his mate in March. Poor Mongo has been so sad... STILL! I was putting the word out for a new Conure, and my friend said a man had walked in to her store and asked if she knew anyone who took birds in. Sure enough, this one is a female and needs a home.

I never buy birds- it just adds to the problem of unwanted birds. So I have been waiting for a bird for Mongo. The universe is amazing that way. They tend to come to me right when I am looking, or someone needs one.

I'm going to meet her today or this weekend, then introduce Mongo to her and see if he likes her. Let's hope so!
