Thursday evening was rather an interesting time for me. I in fact, attended my very first workshop. What was the workshop about you might ask? 'Introduction to Scene Negotiations 101' for the curious or lover of BDSM/D/s/fetishes, what have you. The workshop introduced new players to the art of negotiating a successful play scene. It covered such things as talking about what you need, deciding who is doing what to whom, when, where, and how, play agreements and contracts, party, one night, and lifelong play agreements. The workshop gave beginners all the tools they needed to successfully negotiate play with new friends.

The workshop actually went very well. We were a group of 15, with all levels of experience. There were some newbies to the scene there, as well as some long term players who have been in the scene for over 15 years. The one thing I noticed off the hop about everyone, is while we all have our own kinks, fetishes, be we Top or bottom, Dom/Domme or sub, everyone, and I mean everyone was incredible respectful of each other. I met a lot of really cool people last night, and most definitly walked away with a whole wack of knowledge.

A very interesting night to say the least. I can now officially say, that I have the knowledge to successfully negotiate a play scene should I have the desire to.
