well it finally snowed up here! yay! i have been sick all week, headache, sinus pressure, snot...what is snot exactly. I keep meaning to investigate that...lots of water, dead cells? a substance created by your body to kill bacteria and viruses? what?
this week i also went to "the Women's Conference" so that I could learn tips on how to be more assertive and other such essential things to be a successful professional. it was pretty good, i am one step closer to being able to project a more postive and confident image. it goes against a lot of my insticts learning how to play in this world, but it's important.
hmm...what else, i went to a doctor and she informed me that women should only drink one alcoholic beverage in a day. ok, mostly i agree. but i told her that sometimes i might have as many as 3...i was being honest about the most likely weekend outing scenario which doesn't even really happen all that often. i'm 24, sometimes i drink a few. anyway, i thought that it was pretty unrealistic and it's not that often. just wondering what people think about this?
i am so tired of living in syracuse. i made a lovely friend recently though. she's very cool and funny and fun and very smart. aside from her I am tired of coming home to my small ass apartment and being unable to wander out and engage in what i like to call passive socializing, i.e., observing intersting/attractive people without having to actually know them or talk to them...or casually talking, and/or dancing. the closest thing up in this place is the barnes & noble/starbucks...I never thought I'd see the day that i was like...oooh! let's go to starbucks, let alone a fucking barnes & noble/starbucks combo. alas, the "local" coffee shop is stupid and closes at like 6 pm, i kid not. that makes me sad.
you know what i do like, "so fresh, so clean" by outkast.
that's all i got for now.

I'm the new UpstateSGNY group owner and i'm popping into people's journals from the upstate area to invite them to join the group!
i'm hoping to get enough new members interested in events to have get togethers and large events (possibly a darien lake day, or something to that effect). so stop by and see what's up... i promise there isn't even any sort of weird initiation (well, unless you want there to be... lol).

oh, and sorry about the "form letter"... this would be a super lengthy process if i tried doing it any other way.
