Reading Heathers journal... Beauty and Ugliness. Hm. Oscar Wilde said that beauty is that which is
uninjured... I don?t know... Ugliness can be quite
beautiful in my opinion. Anything that exists in our
"system", everything that has been created is
playing some sort of a Role. It's all a part of
harmony and balance. Therefore to me - it's
beautiful. However raw it might be, however hard to
look at and to except, it's still real and demands to
be treated as one. Now, since according to this
way of thinking everything and everyone is beautiful
there is no point in having the opposite. There is no
such thing as ugliness. Doesn't exist. And beauty
doesn't exist either. It's just a way for people to
differentiate what they get and what they don't
get... Heather says that she's tired of people
ignoring beauty. Well, they're ignoring everything...
Embrace the ugliness and you'll understand the
beauty. Except the darkness and you will
feel the light. Destroy in order to create. What could
be more beautiful than the suffering of Christ on
the cross and the tears of Mary besides him? What
could be more ugly than the idea of a crucifix? Are
you uninjured?
