Today is my last day in the Army! Nearly 12 years of service comes to an end. I did the best i could and wish i could have done more

I fly home Sunday night.

Retirement Update:

Terminal Leave begins 30 July and last day in the Army is 23 Sept. I will be officially retired 24 Sept 2012. 11 1/2 years of service, 4 deployments, 44 jumps from a high speed aircraft to include rotary wing, 1000's of rounds shot, and hundreds of thousands of pounds of explosives detonated! What a ride!

It's looking like I'll be going on leave from the Army for the final time some time around the end of July/beginning of Aug. It's also looking like I'll be officially retired somewhere around 30 Sept. It's a bitter sweet time. I love being a Soldier, but it's time for me to move on. I'm just too injured to Soldier.
