The funeral for my uncle was beautiful. The professionalism of the Honor Guard was impeccable. I could never do that job.

My uncle belongs in Arlington. He was captured during the Battle of the Bulge where his feet were frostbitten. During the Korean War he was a Drill Sergeant. I was mistaken told that he was a Sergeant Major when he was not. He was a Master Sergeant. He was passed over for Sergeant Major because he could not wear boots due to the frostbite he received in WWII.
