Well, I'm back in Pittsburgh for the next couple of days.
My week with my daughter was not what I expected. My daughter and her mother had a very different agenda than I did. I wanted to get closer to my kid(who I haven't seen in more than a year). Her mother was looking for someone to live off of and my daughter was looking for something to do. That something did not involve me. She liked the laptop and the pool much better.
What more can I say other than I tried.

i know it's worthless to say don't feel bad about it, 'cause you already do...but she's only 9, of course technology and fun times in water more more interesting than mom! it has been and always will be that way...that is in no way a reflection of your maternal power...she's still a kid...it'll be worse when she's a teenager...i say give her 'till she's 20
