We didn't jump, the winds were too high. 25 knots! We can't jump anything over 12. We were 6 min. from green light when it got scratched. The door was open and we were hooked up when the Air Force closed the door and scratched the jump. But we did do the mission. The temp was 25 before the wind chill. My ruck was somewhere around 50-60lbs. Which is not the heavyest I've carried. But I haven't rucked in 5-6 months so it was alot at the time. I was not wearing any cold weather gear(like a dumb-ass). We took a knee or were in the prone most of the time. When we patroled I was point but my night vision goggles were not working correctly, So I was miserable all night long. We didn't get done till alomst noon, we started at around 2 in the mourning.
