I got out of the field Friday afternoon. We spent all week at the 360 livefire shoot house. It was intense. The guy training us was a 26 year vet of Special Forces. We went through the house again and again and again. For hours. We finished Friday mourning at around 04:00. We got to use explosives to breech doors and shoot live rounds.
Let me tell ya, standing 2 feet away from a door as the demo blows it into the room, rushing in to shoot live rounds at enemy targets while trying to determine which are friendly, is a rush like no other. As a Teamleader, I had total control over the situation. Till we did 2 team drills. Now we had 8 Soldiers with live rounds shooting at targets in the same house.
