She was amazing, she really was. I see her quite a lot at the Glee club (it's really a comedy club, and it's where I go to burlesque shows) which is incredible. It's the cleanest club in the world! I spent like... 17 getting her new album on vinyl (which comes with the CD anyway = score) and I got it signed. I've wanted to meet her for ages but I haven't had chance before - my sister drove us into Birmingham so we didn't have to get back for the train or anything which was kind of a relief... but the drive was more than stressful.

It was okay on the way there really, the bigger roundabouts in Birmingham apparently have no rules though and the traffic was really stop start (mostly stop) the whole way there. The way back though?? Nightmare, Tom Tom tricked us into thinking that we were on the right road when we weren't and we ended up the complete wrong direction - it also thought it'd be hilarious to try to make us go on the motorway. I dunno, I wouldn't like to drive into Brum, I really don't understand it and people cut you up like... every five minutes.





I was meant to be climbing today but I've done something horrific to my shoulder - that on top of the crippling sunburn isn't great
