I saw Joan Wasser (of Joan As Police Woman - http://www.joanaspolicewoman.com/ ) playing a solo show last night and she was a m a z i n g. She's always excessively cute, and funny, and beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I haven't seen her playing solo since I first saw her open for Rufus Wainwright at Symphony Hall and she was just... amazing, she seems like she feels really at home at the Glee Club (and it is THE cleanest club) which makes her really amazing to see.

She did fuck up that last song, though which extended the show by about... a minute. I also missed the last train home by about... a minute. Oh and I saw it leave the station before I got a chance to get on it, I was absolutely heartbroken. For sure. My sister and I had to get a taxi (the one we booked didn't turn up) which cost us 13 extra than it would have if we'd have got the train back.

Grr.

In other news: I got a little infection in my freshly pierced ear, decided it needed to be taken out because it wasn't safe to keep it in any longer, the butterfly stuck onto the earring and... I ripped the stud through the back of my ear. Very very ouch ): There was much screaming, and blood, and my mom was a complete saint keeping calm for me.

So yeah that was fun, and now my ear piercings are symmetrical and I HATE it.
