People.
I just don't understand why people act the way that they do towards each other online. Is it because of the fact that there isn't a flesh and blood person standing in front of them they can treat them however they want. I try to be a good person. I try to be fair and just and right to my friend and the important people in my life. I guess that I just have too high of a standard, or something, and think that other people are going to try to be the same way.
I've been doing this online thing long enough to have been doing it in the days before graphical browsers ... back when the internet was nothing but lines of text. I guess that I just thought that more would come of it, that it would become a way to share information, culture and lifestyles. But instead it seems to be some sort of giant singles bar.
I just don't know.
Its one o'clock in the morning, here in Cleveland and I am sitting here at my computer watching and listening to the city around me. Its weird that I can feel so connected to the world around me, and yet so alone at the same time.
Is it just me who feels this way? This disconnectedness. Every few mintues a car hits that plate in the street making that loud crashing noise. It has gotten to the point, though, where I don't really notice it as much as I did at first.
I need some new friends, and I need something better to do with my time. There's so much going on around here and I feel like I am missing out on it. Sad, huh?
