This week I'm volunteering for VBS (Vacation Bible School), because my mother is in charge of it. I'm the official photographer, which means I get to take pictures, every morning, of a hundred kids, plus all the adult and youth volunteers. Who knew that taking pictures of more than a hundred people would be so exhausting, or rewarding?
On the plus side, I was productive today. And I've started doing some various nerd things that Andrew and Eryn have wanted me to do. Such as, watching Avatar, the Last Airbender, reading The Maxx and Watchmen, perhaps starting one of the many Christopher Moore novels that my mom let me borrow, and I still need to start reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman. So much to do, and not enough time in the day. Plus, it doesn't help that I plan on doing these things when I wake up every morning, but I end up interneting all day, and watching Netflix.
What other "nerd" things should I get into? Are there any good webcomics out there? I'm a big fan of Girls with Slingshots and Axe Cop, and I've been told I should start reading Dr McNinja. I don't often read SMBC or XKCD. Any other good ones? Or, are there any books or comics I should read? Anything on Netflix I should watch? Besides Dr Who and Red Dwarf, which I'm more than aware I should watch.
