The Best Day Ever
Sunday was probably my best day ever, despite the fact that I had to work. I'm working at Six Flags again this summer, which I suppose is nice. Sunday was just awesome. I was working near Main Street, which is near the entrance of the park, in a store called Six Flags Emporium. I work in retail and Andrew works in entertainment. He was working right by my store, escorting a couple of loony toons characters. I saw him several times, waved hello, and talked about him to other employees. He came to visit me on his break, and bought me a watch. A batman watch. Batman bought me a batman watch. Yes, my boyfriend is Batman at Six Flags this year. I thought that was sweet.
During the day, I got four red dots...one for being clean, and three for being friendly. Red dots are a rewards program for employees. And I got four of them in one day, which is kind of unheard of. I worked in Christine's for a bit, and danced in front of the store with another employee working in foods, during Mr. Six's dance party. I guess I was bored, and being silly...but I got a red dot for that.
After work, I went to the retail office, and applied for a Lead position. The Leads work right under supervisors. They only have four leads in our department right now. So, the manager of the retail department scheduled me an interview for Friday. I'm going to be a Lead...which means I will be working more hours and making more money...about fifty cents more I guess.
After work, I went out to the employee parking lot to wait for Andrew to get out of work. I called my dad, we gabbed for awhile, and I persuaded him to buy me the ukulele I wanted on Amazon for my birthday. It's coming on Friday, and I'm so excited! I've recently learned the power of asking for things and favors. And usually when I ask, I get what I want, which is weird, since I never ask for anything.
Then Andrew got out of work, and took me home. We hung out for a couple of hours before he had to leave to go to a party. After he left, I went about doing some chores...and all of a sudden he was back, at my door. He said the party had been rescheduled to the night after, so he could hang out with me. We went out to dinner, and then went back to my house to cuddle.
All in all, it was a wonderful day, and it was the little things that made it great!

I'm so glad you had a great day. And I agree - it's usually the little things that make a day great.
