I'm not sure if you guys heard about the snowstorm we had on the east coast. It was a massive snowstorm on Saturday night, and all of Western Mass lost power. We didn't get power back until Tuesday afternoon. In the meantime, we froze and read by candle light, because that was all we could do. Chicopee got their power back sooner than we did, so Monday night we went out to eat, mostly just so we could be in heat and have a hot meal. Tuesday morning, it was lovely out. My mom made breakfast outside on the gas grill, and we sat outside in the sun, eating eggs and sausage and bagels, and reading on a blanket. Then, all of a sudden, National Grid showed up, and put our power back on. We weren't supposed to get power until Saturday.
Now we have power and internet and hot water and food, and I'm pretty happy.
Here's some of the damage:

Tuesday it was sunny and warm out. So we ate breakfast and read outside on a blanket.
