I've been invited to join a new D&D campaign that some of my friends are doing. It's a vampire game, and I'm a person, maybe a childe, who has never heard about the game and knows nothing about it, and as I learn about my character, I learn about the game. I haven't developed a character yet, but here are some of my ideas:
Social manipulator
Wines and dines with the "IN" crowd
Not a fighter, a musician/artist who talks her way out of things
Came from poverty, was abused
Intelligent but not well educated
Socially connected to people
If she has a problem, she goes to someone older and wiser to help her deal with it
She's a musician, plays the mandolin
Calms people with her music
Good at judging and reading people in social situations
People person
She believes there is something beyond the mortal world, but isn't sure the books are true about vampires
She's magically social, so people are drawn to her
If you guys have any other suggestions on how I could make my character better, let me know.
Tonight I have a paper to write, I have an assignment due, I have to write my toast for my mother's wedding on Saturday, and I have to practice the song I'm singing in the wedding with my choir director. And then I have D&D. I'm wondering if I can get everything done today.
Oh, and I think I fucking aced my art history test today! She asked all the questions from our flash cards, and I breezed through it, no problem. I'll be really pissed if I don't at least get a 90%.
