Got a phone call from the mediators today to check up on how I'm doing. Seriously cracked me up. I was nearly roaring with laughter down the phone. The whole conversation was filled with comments like "Are you saying hello in the morning...yes!....congratulations, that's so strong of you.....and are you saying goodbye when you leave...yes!....wow, things are going so well, you're so fantastic". I just couldn't believe it, the best was when they asked me how I felt things were going and I said worse than ever and then I was told that they'd phoned my nemesis before and she said that she felt everything was going great. To which I had to reply that we went to college yesterday and stood in a lift at the train station avoiding eye contact and refusing to speak, with her walking 10 paces behind me so we didn't spend time together...how's that an improvement? Small steps was the instant reply...it's all small steps. I've seen elves taking bigger steps than these ones Okay, maybe not elves but certainly Snap, Crackle & Pop, set the cat on them and check out their little legs running
