1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Waited for my son to come home. This was the first Christmas since he has been away in the Air Force that he could come home.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year. I won't make any this year. My resolve is to never stop learning and keep an open mind....for the rest of my life.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A partner that I work with had a baby last year.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
We lost one of the brothers from Kenai. He was on a domestic call and was shot with his own weapon.
5. What countries did you visit?
None this year
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
My own house built by this time next year.
7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
March 18....the first time in 20 years I was able to buy arcticminx a big present. I got her the 4 wheeler that she wanted.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Watching my second child (daughter) enlist in the Air Force national guard.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Work
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing serious
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A new truck

Naw not me.
13. What did you do for money?
Work.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Family.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
New truck, moving off base and into a real apt.

i. happier or sadder? happier
ii. thinner or fatter? about the same

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? fun, less work. I have to use the leave time that I have more for the family stuff.

At home, maybe venture out to a buddy's house in the evening. But mostly cuddled up on the couch at home.

I fall in love everyday. I am a very lucky man.

Christened the new truck up on Windy ridge.

A new truck ( I know it is getting repitative.

I saw "Sex and Lucia" for the first time. It was cool.

I am 39 and I went to work. It was a quiet b-day

Not getting promoted. I know that it sounds wierd but I would like to be back on the street. Management sucks.

501's or BDU pants, t-shirt. I wear nice pants and shirt to work but I hate it. Miss the old uniform.

I have never been considered sane.

I miss the guys on the shift, the after work drinks and the poker games. I am thinking about going back.
