Pieces from Bittersweet, some silly novel I'm writing:
I could feel a fury surround me. A heat that filled me with fire and anger and war.
I tried to befriend you, before you even knew about me I had figured out every inch of you. Every blemish, every flaw.
I let myself feel and soon drops of water were sprinkling over my already wet clothes. "Oh." And then we both giggled.
When I was done I posted it on the fridge and sat in the sink for a long time, before realizing how stupid and pathetic and cruel I really was. Drawing pictures I couldn't really see was pointless and unfair, and I hated myself for it.
It was just this lit up massive city, ornamented with everything people take for granted that I could finally appreciate again.
All the times I threw my heart at him and he'd just pick it up gently and hand it back. And everytime I'd ask for his he'd give it to me knowing that I probably would destroy a piece of it somehow.
I was beautiful even with my muddy green eyes and I knew that.

it was hard to be mad at daphne.. she was dead asleep.. it was actually kinda funny.. jsut had to do some unplanned laundry
