So I am a non smoker and whenthe smoking ban went into effect in Mpls I was a happy camper. Tonight I met friends at a bar in Mpls and to my surprise they allow smoking and they stay open later then 2:00 AM. You would think the bar would be crawling with people it wasn't. I think it will be though. It is the fort Snelling club, it is a bar on a military base and I guess they only have to follow their own rules. So now I have that old was at a bar smoking clothes deal going. I don't miss this. I actually could use a shower. I was pretty responsible tonight when it came to drinking. I am glad cause I had a 35 minute drive home and I saw three people pulled over and three other police cars.
I have had three good friends get DWI's in the last 6 months. This wouldn't be all that unusual to say if I was 21, but these are people all in their thirties who either haven't had any DWI's before or usually make smart decisions. It would be such a pain in the ass!

I have been trying paste in a msn map image in here, but I haven't been able. Send me an E-mail address I can send it to you if my directions don't get you close enough.
It is in south Mpls by the airport and Fort Snelling park. Very close to the interestion of Hiawatha (hwy 55) and hwy 62. On the south west side, it is back in there a little bit, but if you drive around you will eventually run into it. I think on Sloan Blvd. The train goes right by there on it's way to the airport.
I think it is only a matter of time before this place is absolutely packed with smoker/drinkers.
