Happy Sunday friends!!!
Every day I log onto this site with the intention of writing a blog! Butttttt instead I pop around, liking photosets, blogs or photo posts and/or commenting lil' heart eyed emojis. Sine I'm not confident in my blog posting abilities (the underlying reason why I rarely write them) I thought it would be fun to write about my day today! So welcome to the weirdness that is my mind/day and hopefully I will continue this!
So my alarm goes off as the sun creeps though my window; I'm sandwiched between two snoring pups and my partner is literally on the polar opposite side of the bed **chuckling thinking about how he hates being warm/hot at night so I think he secretly moves the dogs on top of me while I'm sleeping since I can be a hard sleeper**.
Anyway, I got up, showered and had the first little work Quarterly Party today which was a ton of fun! The organization I work for is pretty great; first of all they gave me a massive bonus for my work over the last 6 years which I chose to reinvest in the business. So this makes me a Managing Partner (sounds intense but it's only a 1.5% partnership haha) This lil' fact was a fun piece of the party/meeting this AM because we got to have mimosas! yay booze! In addition to my very adult investment we had a serious conversation about wages moving forward with Amendment 70 passing in Colorado. I am so fucking happy to say my proposal to increase our organization's wages while bumping up prices and tightening up the team perks a bit was taken way more positively than I ever expected!!! **side note my co-workers/team are so important to me! I love them and I would probably take a bullet for each of them. I'm so happy my bosses approved my proposal to pay them even more money so their wages would remain thrive-able in exchange for slightly higher prices on the menu!**

After the meeting I snagged the left over muffins and went to my dude/partners tattoo shop where I usually sit around, stealing internet to do office work at while pretending to be their 'shop manager'. The few hours I was there I did some pretty awesome pizza and personal focused research. It started with googling 'DIY edible gold flakes'. Because I'm crazy I'll share more information about it later but, for now, this is the shit that CAME UP LIKE THIS AND THIS HAHA. I wish i knew how to make cakes so I could coat everything in edible gold glitter!!!!!!!! But once I got the info I needed from all that magic I started looking up some other shit for my mom! Which is always fun! So my mooommm wants me to design a shirt for her march on Washington , DC this month. ***Let me say my mom is a total badass; survivor of domestic abuse, aggressive ovarian cancer and borderline poverty all while walking up 3 flights of stairs on the daily and convincing my sister and I things were right*** So she wants me to print her a shirt that says "this pussy grabs back' so I looked up a butttload of fonts while my partner drew up a sweet cat image. ***Have you ever checked the site youworkforthem.com ??? It's tremendous; I'm only 50% of a designer (which is 44% more of a Politician than Trump is)*** and I think I found a solid one that is also the name of a Suicide Girl? If you can guess it correctly you might win a print and a polaroid! So take a swing at it ;) **hint she's a mega babe and she turned pink a few months ago**
After downloading the font my dude and I went to our favorite bar for a 60's inspired Mai Tai and a glass of whiskey for him. We hung, bounced some ideas around about future tattoos, plans and mostly trying to avoid heading home in the snow.
Now we're at home drinking an IPA from Tommy Knockers but mostly today was a nice day; chill and filled with some great people!
Everyday I've spent a little time thinking about the year ahead and what I want to achieve or accomplish so I will say that I am excited for the year and the immediate weeks to come which include:

@zephyrine and I's multi 'Invitation Only' comes out in just two months!! Eeee!! Keep your eyes peeled because we kind of broke @jadamsphoto while shooting it so it might make your day awesome!
'I Am An Ocean' which is a super fun set that the amazing @sunshine shot hits member review in about three weeks! AH!!!
