I'm going with my Nana tomorrow morning to the homecare nurse to learn how to give her 2 needles per day. No one in my family can do it except me, because either they are working during the hours she needs the medicine or they are needle-shy. With my tattoo experience everyone immediatley looked at me and said "you do it." I think the needle is somewhat like a diabetes needle, where it is inserted into her stomach. That doesn't upset me. Seeing her afraid of the drugs and side effects is what upsets me. But the absolutely wonderful thing about this is that I get to be the one to hold her hand. After she has cared for me through so much in this life, I now get to hold herhand.
And thank you so much for saying such supportive things to me...all of you. And those of you who are now making donations, or have in the past....I'll never be able to show how thankful I am to you. It's you who are paying for labs and new treatments....and that is what reaches people.

So. I put off getting the "Minky" tattoo on my hand a few weeks back, but I'm finishing the drawing tonight. I'll post up some pictures tomorrow for all to see. And I'll be getting it done by

OH and just before I forget, my PC keeps crashing and going offline. So often it's hard to write an email or blog. I might be getting it fixed soon so if I misteriously dissapear for a few days then that's why I tried to use my infinite knowledge of computers to solve the problem but doing virus scans can only go so far haha
