Oh my god!
I wrote that blog and within a few hrs the little town I'm staying in got flattened by tornados! I don't even think there's been a recorded tornado here ...well....ever.
My power has been off until today. I had no water, plumming, lights etc. We lost all the food in the fridge and freezers. All the gas stations in town were closed, but I was lucky and filled up that day. I was able to drive all over town the next day to finally find a place to buy bottled water, food and supplies. I got a generator yesterday for the fridge and everything came back on today, but it could've been worse. They said the power would still be off until monday, but I got lucky. There were 3 spots on my road where the hydro lines were actually ripped down by uprooted trees. They weren't small trees either. The woman next door to me got a tree through her living room and she has no house insurance. We spent the first 2 days helping everyone chainsaw trees and debris from their homes and yards. I have never even seen a storm like this here. I know everyone in the U.S. has mostly experienced something like this, but I can tell you that this was a freak of nature to happen here.
SG Hydra lives here too, so go make sure you drop her a line too.
I will take some time to start writing my story that I talked about in my previous blog, but first I have to upload the destruction pictures I took that day so all of you can see what I mean.

We don't get many natural disasters in our little corner of the world. It must be incredibly frightening. I'm just really glad you are okay!
