I just wanted to share these….because well…
As a Chef and we have a healthy obsession with knives…
Or an unhealthy one, depends on who you ask.
But honestly, these are one the sexiest things I have seen and held. And sometimes your knife ranks above your lady, which we never tell them.
But its true.
Its our daily tool, our main office utensil, our bottle opener, our apprentice-threatener, our own worst enemy. But mainly our most beloved.
Most chefs I have worked under have had names for their Knife. Ranging from ELVIS MACH TWO, to BERNADETTE.
I think i'll name the top one, Sophie. I just love the name, its nice and soft to say, no hard consonants.
My first knife I named "Roskaboro", after the original Japanese cuisine IRON CHEF (japanese classic version). One of my favourite TV shows growing up as a kid, not just favourite cooking show.
Now i have a new set of knives for the next part of my life/career.
Italian Olive Wood Handles, so each one has a different wood grain running through them…………
I may be drooling…
