Things are looking up. I applied for a really cool job working on the railroad. Sounds odd to those of you that know me, but I'll explain a little more down the line if it pans out. Basically it's a supervisor position where I'd be a boss instead of a laborer. Keep your fingers crossed for me that this comes through.
My music project is taking off. I got three releases out this year. First was a 10 song CD back in February, then a 4 song digital EP in May, and just this week one of my songs came out on a digital compilation release by a label in Belgium. It's been nice having the free time over the past year to really focus on music and get things going. Before the year is out I plan on having two more releases out in the market.
Tomorrow I leave for the ECCT. It's going to be the biggest one ever and I'm hoping it will be the best one yet. I have a bunch more stuff to do before it starts, but it's all pretty easy stuff. Buy food, cook food, freeze food. All of the hard work is behind me now. Thanks in no small part to the excellent staff I had help me. And while i know come Sunday when I'm returning home I'll be dirty, I'll smell like smoke, and I'll be completely exhausted there will be a part of me that feel a sense of accomplishment that no one can take away.
Hope you all have a good week and a relaxing weekend. Wish you were joining us if you can't. If you are, see you all soon.
