my motherboard on my pc officially crapped out today. first the network card disappeared, and now usb no longer exists... so i am officially a monogamous mac user now....
die, windows, die!!!
although i actually bought a new pc game today- before everything went all pear shaped-- a d&d game called "pool of radiance". so gay. i am going to try and get a refund from fry's tomorrow....
am also going to buy a dvd player... i'm almost inclined to get an xbox to use as a dvd player, it's not that much more... i am not so much into videogames though, certainly not so much that i can justify owning two consoles...
my upstairs neighbors are moving out in a couple weeks... thank god. if i were faced with another year of stoned morons blasting the white stripes though my ceiling i would have killled someone. this is better.
i found out that they have a hindi class at uni so i signed up... classes start next week... i might be able to get into the graduate program here with relatively little incident and earlier than i could be accepted to out of state programs.... maybe i should just play it safe and stay here where i have a job i like and an apartment.... i'm torn between appreciating the stability i have and just shitcanning everything and starting over somewhere else...
