Today's news:
1. Non-REM sleep helps people learn process-based data: for instance, a complex sequence of actions like entering a series of commands into a computer, or licking your girlfriend to orgasm.
2. Hot climates tend to have more carbon dioxide in the air than cold ones. Plants need carbon dioxide to live, and have pores in their leaves which absorb it, but in an environment with excess CO2 plants tend to develop fewer pores for this purpose. Therefore, scientists have been able to use plant fossils from the past several million years to figure out global climate changes.
3. A snowstorm is not a national emergency. Really. So please stop buying up all the Campbell's soup, everyone! I live for the Noodle-o's!
