Hello Beauties!!
This week I decided to start writing the weekly blog homework assigned by @missy , @rambo, and @lyxzen , not only will I be more active it will allow you to get to know me better! This weeks topic is a super easy one for me since I'm a pretty big fan of my Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBOGO accounts, yes I may have a problem... I could literally go on for days telling you about everything that i've watched and loved, but i narrowed it down to my top 3 current running tv show, a favorite from the past, and lastly my favorite documentary right now!
1.) Game of Thrones - This one is a no brainer and practically religion in my house. I've always been interested in stories of Kings and Queens all the drama, pretty dresses, and mythical creatures! I love the strong underdog story lines, and watching each charactor play their part in an even bigger picture. I haven't read the books but plan to after the series is over, I'm too in love with the show I don't want to ruin it by reading the books and getting upset when they change things.
2.) Nashville - So this one I never expected in a million years because I am the very last fan of country music, but man has this show has got me! I am wrapped up in the whirlwind that is every character, all the family drama, the amazing music which the cast is actually singing!! I absolutely love that they took the time to find a cast that could not only act the parts but could sing and play the instruments as well. The music is on point even for country I enjoy most of it, my favorite is Scarlett her voice is something else. I've recently started watching Empire as well, it's not as good in my option but I like it.
3.) Girls - This show is a ridiculous train wreck that I can't seem to stop watching. It leaves me feeling dirty and abused but I love it! Lena Dunham is something else.
4.) Battlestar Galactica - I actually didn't watch this one until just last year with my boyfriend but as soon as we started watching it I knew we couldn't stop, we watched all 4 seasons in just over a month it was pretty insane. They really did an amazing job with this one, the stories are so deep, the connections so real you almost feel like it really happened. The end upset a lot of people I guess, but it worked for me, I was more sad that it was over then anything else.
5.) Plastic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch - I feel like every human being on this plant needs to watch the documentary. Our dependency and overuse of plastics is having an impact on our environment that needs to be addressed. It is absolutely horrifying to see what plastic is doing in the ocean, and what is happening with the animal who live with in it. Here's a little fun fact that fish that you ate that came from the ocean it most likely had a bunch of little pieces of plastic just chilling in its stomach... That might not sound too bad but they never digest the plastic it just stays there, and the fish absorbs all those chemicals from it into its body which you eat... YUMMY! Other documentaries I enjoyed were: Blackfish, Mission Blue, and The Paw Project.
I hope this was fun!
