I'm getting a house with Nic (my girlfriend of 4 years) on 1st of December. It's pretty exciting but also a bit daunting because everything has happened quite quickly and we haven't had any time to save money for things. This means we'll be moving into an empty house without the funds necessary to furnish it at all. Nic's totally crazy with excitement because it'll be the first time she's ever lived away from her mum, whereas I'm more weary since I've had a few places of my own over the years. So, we're just gonna move in and have to sit on the floor for the time being I guess.

I'm getting a bit down about my band again. We haven't done anything productive now for about 18 months and although we keep trying to get some momentum going it just never seems to happen. I just want to get back to the point where we're able to play some gigs again, even if it is the same shitty clubs that I swore we wouldn't play again two years ago. I can't figure it out because we have the capacity to write good stuff and we regularly come up with very decent musical ideas, but we have a totally inability to turn these ideas into fully developed songs at the moment. Here's hoping that things take a turn for the better over the coming weeks.
