There has been too many occassions lately where I've said or done something that has later given me cause to cringe in shame/embarrasment/self-loathing. I need to figure out how to be normal. Is there a 'social interaction for dummies' book out there?

December is here and I'm hating it already. At least I get next weekend off work and there's lots of xmas parties to go to in the coming weeks. I knew there had to be an upside!

People I work with have suggested that I'm suffering from stress, but I don't feel like I'm stressed, just mixed up or still kind of upset about the split. I took out a 20k loan today on a whim. This is either the greatest idea ever or the biggest financial mistake of my life. Only time will tell.

Every weekend should be 3-days long. Why isn't this the case already? There must be campaign or some such effort to make this the norm. 4 days of work and 3 days of rest and play seems like a far better balance to me. Am I wrong?
