So I decided to "look", it was free
For those of you who are in the dating scene, you are probably familiar with the way "Match" sucks you in.
I'm trying to move on. Trying to get my head straight, and to psych myself up to get back in shape (doing well with eating during the day, it's when I get home that I fail).
Anyway, I get on Match and do a basic search, it looks like if you were a member previously, your profile and other information is still there. And who pops up on the very first page? Someone who was a friend and we crossed the line to dating, but broke my heart/spirit when he said he didn't want a GF (that was last year), and.... the one who broke my heart recently. Amazingly enough, they share the same name.
WTH!!! Is it that people think they know what they want and that's what they write in their profiles, but then, when it gets down to it, they really want something else???? (and I know one of you will probably read this blog...).
I had a chat with a woman from work who is getting married in August. She and her fiance met through Match. She had to go through a lot of 'fish' first to find her one guy.
Gosh!!!!
(EDIT: And if there are all these Single available guys in Seattle, where are they when my friends and I go out? - Are men intimidated by beautiful, strong minded women!!!????)

I don't know about Seattle but up here in Van alot of the women I know actually complain that when they go out they never get left alone. There are just to many guys out to pick up the ladies at the clubs. It's a veritable sausage fest some nights with the few women not all ready with a guy practically having bulls eyes on their backs.
I wish you luck though. they say there is someone out there for everyone, the trick is finding that person.
