My mom felt so bad for me that she's actually on a plane from NY to Seattle to take care of us.
Well, I'll tell you how I spent my afternoon: Checked into the ER @ Swedish around 2:15pm; got admitted about 20 mins after that; had some x-rays taken, blood work done, and was hooked up to an IV for the next 3 + hours. Diagnosis: Stomach flu.
I do tell you, the stuff they gave me worked. I haven't had to puke since. I wish I'd done it sooner.
I cannot go to work tomorrow.
thank God for good friends who come to your rescue when you need them!!!
My daughter's dad didn't pick up his cell phone all day, so I had to get the GF who drove me to the hospital to come back to my place and wait for the drop off.... Thankfully it worked out okay.
I thought about doing a "shocking" photoset as I was laying there hooked up to the IV... but too many hospital staff kept walking passed the room, and all I had was my crappy cell phone camera...
