One of my good friends uses those sites to meet people but never has dated a girl off them. He just seems to use it to make friends. I personally have never put much stock in it since every woman I have ever dated I liked for different reasons. I just new when I met them if I was interested. I don't think I even know what it is I like most. I do have to say that strong willed women are a must. I have no interest in indecisive, flakey chicks. The one thing that I am pretty consistent about is I have very little interest in blonds, they are quite overrated. I think in my whole life I have only gone out with 2 blonds. Dark hair is much better imo.
I don't know about Seattle but up here in Van alot of the women I know actually complain that when they go out they never get left alone. There are just to many guys out to pick up the ladies at the clubs. It's a veritable sausage fest some nights with the few women not all ready with a guy practically having bulls eyes on their backs.
I wish you luck though. they say there is someone out there for everyone, the trick is finding that person.
