milliondead

It's been a stressful week, both at work and at home. So I'm blasting some Boysetsfire, Milliondead and old Therapy? records, letting out some frustration. Nothing like some good ol' hardcore or grunge to blow off steam.

In other news: I hooked up my new cable box yesterday (with harddisk recorder now), my new cable modem and SIP (phone over cable). Seeing I had to change all the cable wiring and splitters and stuff too, I took the opportunity to reorganise all the powercables in my stereo cabinet as well, it was like a wire spaghetti back there. Speaking of stereos, I'm trying to get my hands on this:

A 200 disc DVD changer. It will go well with my 200 disc CD changer, also from Sony. Yes, I'm a tech and gadget geek. I found one on a Dutch auction site, hope I manage to get it fo a decent price. There are a couple more on Ebay (even a lot cheaper than the one I found in NL), but they're all in the US. And I'm not spending a couple of hundred bucks on something I can't see beforehand. Not to mention that I'd have to hack it first so I can play European DVD's (different region code). So for now I have my hopes set on the only one in NL I could find. Wish me luck .

This weekend I might take down a cinderblock wall in my bedroom and convert the storage room on the other side of that wall into a walk-in closet. Or next week. I'm lazy . Anyway, it should give me a little more room in here.

Ok lovelies, I'm off to do some Saturday stuff like getting groceries and going to the market.
