We had a pretty bad storm here yesterday. Wind speeds from 75-90 mph. A lot of fallen down trees, ipped off branches, trucks that got blown on their side, railways (power) that got damaged, couple of roofs that got blown off. Most public transport was shut down, so were several roads. I went home early (scheduled), and they were just closing down all train services and evacuating the train stations when I arrived at my stop at 3:15. Several hundred people had to stay at a shelter overnight, because they had no means of getting home. Trains should be running again from this morning, but I decided to stay home.
Anyway, it was interesting to experience a storm like that. Fortunatly most of the damage was material, and no-one I know got hurt.
On another note: I bought the Bufy the Vampire Slayer box last week, and I'm already at episode 18 of season 2. Is that sad...?

pajamamama:
NO that is not sad!! I LOVE Buffy!! I am glad the storm is over. I love storms...well watching them from inside though. It was supposed to snow here, they said all day...it snowed for maybe 10 min and now the sun is out. Only weather people can have a job where they can be wrong all the time.
