I think of a moment that straightens up my frown
Life is a journey and learning is a must
Because we don't live life it lives through us
Hurling through space on this giant blue ball
Pulled down by gravity like a never-ending fall
I find myself wondering how different it would be
If motivation in my mind turned to actions I could see
As I begin to focus on what needs to be done
My thoughts overwhelm me like heat from the sun
I write these rhymes to eliminate the stress
Brought on by our power driven world that's a mess
Bankers own the world by using money as debt
While the rest of us suffer like a returning war vet
One thing is for certain that our system is a joke
Politicians are like puppets taking orders till they choke
With a revolution of the mind no task is too tall
But our addiction to oil could be the death of us all
