Man I'm so glad I don't have to go to work tomorrow...thank you Jesus!!! I felt like I was gonna pass out today from pure exhaustion...and to top it off my knee is bothering me, horrible. But let me stop complaining, overall things are good just a little tiring.
My wife just told me something very interesting yesterday. I guess you could consider it an epiphany of sorts, but in general she's come to the conclusion that life is too short to not experience things and as long as we live a comfortable life then that's all that matter. I couldn't have agreed more with her. But I can't help to admit I was taken back a bit with her new outlook on life, mainly because it's a significant departure from how she ususally feels. We mainly talked about travel but I'm sure it applies to other aspects of our lives individually as well as collectively. I consider myself to be care-free to a certain degree and this only makes my life a lot easier and more focused. I'll still maintain my passion to grow financially but I can be more patient knowing that my wife's new outlook is compatible with mine. Chalk this up as another point of growth within my marriage...what can I say "I love her more than you'll ever know" - Donnie Hathaway.
On other news fronts, I'll be aggressively attacking and improving my physical condition. I'm a big guy (not fat and sloppy) and while I have maintained a certain level of muscle definition, my physcial conditioning is horrible at this point. My plan is to start swimming at least 4 times a week. Normally I'm quite active, usually riding my bike and running but with this hellacious work schedule I've neglected my body and it's catching up to me. I'll be 30 this year and I would like to start this chapter of my life in visibly better shape than I was in my late 20's. I have a major trip coming up in September and my goal is to have lost at least 30 lbs by then...I personally think its very doable it just depends on how much of my downtime I'm willing to sacrifice to make it work. So with that said every month I'll give an update on my status. Just wait and see!!!

Yo man, I got a hot tip for that weight loss. Listen to M.O.P while you're doing whatever it is you're doing. You'll definitely work harder in fear of them popping out of no where and beating your face in with a bat! It worked for me last summer. I was at 250, and I wanted to get to about 230..worked real hard, and I'm down to 210 right now. Still trying to get under 200. All thanks to M.O.P!!
