What are the best Halloween costumes you've seen?
So, as you all would know Halloween isn't as big here in Australia as we would like. My friends and I still manage to have a heap of fun every year though, and last year was the best yet.
One of my friends (A) is an SFX makeup artist. Last year she collaborated with another one of our friends (M) to create a horrendously terrifying Twisty The Clown. Oh, and I mean TERRIFYING!
Every year M takes Halloween into her stride, she never wants a boring costume. She doesn't want a cute one. She genuinely wants to scare people. For Twisty, M handmade the garments and A created the mouth and did all the makeup to go along with it.
Pretty sweet, huh?
A decided to go as someone who had brutal baseball accident. I don't know how but she really manages to pull off gorey and sexy all at the same time! She loved it at first but then felt a little sad because she thinks as an artist, she should have done more. I think what she did was perfect! Don't you agree?
I left my costume to the utter last minute, so I spent Halloween as Harley Quinn. Even though it may be overdone, I had heaps of fun! I wish we had more photos but majority of our night consisted of some insane dancing and ridiculous Halloween shenanigans.
This year I've been contemplating as going as a female variation of Jack from An American Werewolf In London. One of my favourite movies of all time! What do you think?
How are you celebrating Halloween? Have you got your costume sorted yet?
