19th September
Saturday was probably the biggest day for everybody, as it was in preparation for the annual SGAU ball. I was feeling quite exhausted by this stage but I still had two shoots to do. One with the lovely @vinture to practice and another with power couple @frankndame
I soldiered through and I'm so glad I did. Vinture and I were thinking of using some of these images for prints, but first we'll gauge interest. Here's a peak of my favourites.
I was thinking of even uploading these as a mini set for you all. Hmm, I'll have to think about it. ;)
After I did this shoot I got ready as fast as I could and went to shoot with FranknDame. I was lucky enough (all weekend) to have @ebonyrae fix up my hair! I was freaking out but with her help I was feeling much better. I ran a little late due to my taxi so I was stressed, but as soon as I was in their apartment it was so easy. I feel like we gelled quite well together! They made me work hard but from what I've seen on the back of the camera, it paid off.
I waited about after and got some sneaky behind the scenes of two more amazing babes.

That night was the SGAU annual ball, and it was just as amazing and I had hoped. Safe to say, I may have let loose. Just a little bit. Just a teeny, tiny bit. Okay, maybe I was that drunk that I was walking up a flight of stairs and leaning on the wall all the way up for support. Maybe.
It was such a great night full of dress ups, (and downs ;)) dancing, drinking, and burlesque. There was a competition for best dressed which the lovely @vorpal won, and somehow, I don't know how, I WAS THE RUNNER UP! That made my night. I won some merch and these amazing prints I can't wait to frame by @christina
Aaaaand the rest of the night is a speedy blur. I remember dancing like a mad man, and taking a few (but not enough) photos with some babes.

This was such a wonderful weekend away and the best way to have spent my 21st. I'm thankful for the lovely community I'm apart of and the great life friends I've made so far. This is why I love shootfests and meetups. Safe to say I absolutely can not wait to see what next year conjures up for us in the SGAU community.
