well here i am faced with a very important decision, sell my shop and recieve nothing from it or have my partners sell their shares and be forced into having no control of my business because i would no longer be majority shareholder.
pros:
i still own all rights to three production designs.
i still own all rights to website.
i still own all rights to business name.
cons:
i am responsible for 1/3 of the debt.
i have to sell designs and rights or reopen another shop on my own.
i have to put 10 employees out of work or hope that they can be employed by new ownership and management. and may have to work for someone else for a while.
either way i think the right thing to do would be to just reliquish control of the business and start again somewhere else and take my key employees with me. the new owners could then have it if they want it, at least the patents and trademarks are mine to keep with or without the business itself.
any ideas? anyone.

well i have decided that i am going to sell off my 1/3 of the shop and take what is rightfully mine and move the hell on . at least i will not have to be under a shroud of scrutiny from two other partners, now i just have to figure out where exactly i am gonna move to.
i am actually looking forward to leaving eastern north carolina again, i was born and raised here, but after seeing other parts of the world , i have come to realize i do not belong here in the bible belt where it is a near total conformist society.
any suggestions of where to move to let me know.
