I'm back from London
Went down there for a birthday / 6 year anniversary celebration and stayed in the Holiday Inn next to Camden Lock. Within spitting distance of the Electric Ballroom (and as it turned out, spitting was all that the Ballroom is fit for) and the Market.
I bought:
A Tripp trenchcoat
Trainers with spikes on
A new Thundercats T-shirt, as my old one is faded
A hoodie with fighting stickmen on the front
Bush, Pennywise, Bad Brains and Tool CDs
I went:
To Camden Market, which was cool
To the Electric Ballroom, which played noisy, annoying hardcore all evening and should be burned to the ground. The only real redeeming feature was the cage dancers, and even they couldn't save it.
Slimelights, which was the coldest I've even been whilst inside, and that includes the walk-in freezers I've been in while working in pubs. The music was alright though.
Oh, and I ordered room service for the first time in my life. Me being me though, I still had burger and chips
