if you are seriously thinking about getting one, and decide in 9mm i can get you he special mags for them. normally the USP Expert, and Elite 9mm come with the standard USP 15 round mags, unless of course it was a gun that was bought while the ban was still in effect. none the less you can use the standard USP 15 round mags. however, HK did make special mags for the USP Expert, and Elite 9mm. these mags hold 18 rounds, and are clear polymer. i have a nice little stash, but can get more. i just need to know as soon as possible. right now i can get them at $49.00 a piece. if you go that route you will also need what it is called the "Jet Funnel". what this is a extended Magazine Well that connects to the base of any USP Full Frame gun in 9mm, or .40s&w, and allowes faster mag changes, and easier mag insertion. the jet funnel normally sells for $89.00.
the USP Expert came in: 9mm, 40s&w, and 45acp. standard mag capacity is: 15, 13, and 12. as i said if the gun was bought during the ban the mags will be: 10, 10, and 10. only the 9mm, and 40s&w frames will accept the "white" mags, and jet funnel give you a capacity of: 18, and 16. the 45acp version will not accept the jet funnel, and the mags are steel instead of polymer.
the USP Elite came in 9mm, and 45acp. as stated above the mag capacity is the same for the calibers.
it is easier for me to get the "white" 18 round 9mm mags then it is for me to get the 16 round 40s&w mags.
note, you will not need those "white" mags to work the gun, you can just use the normal "high" capacity 15, 13, and 12 round mags.
don't worry it is not a bother to ask me this stuff. in all honesty i like to help people with information. i do feel that you would be better gettin a HK USP Expert, or Elite in any caliber. it will be a gun that you can shhot, and enjoy.
