So, I've been very absent from online activity for the last two weeks due to personal issues but I'm now back and catching up. First on the list; SG Homework!
So the first topic is Blog topic assignment what's your favourite movie and why?
I always find this a hard subject to speak about seeing as I'm a big movie buff and a HUGE horror fanatic! Although there are many that I love, I would have to say that Near Dark is my favourite. For those that haven't seen it, Near Dark came out at the same time that The Lost Boys did and well, Lost Boys took over. It's become such a hidden gem and I love it so so much. It's about a bunch of vampires, living on the road, stopping in vehicles and motels and basically roughing it, the whole story is just brilliant. They set on fire when in sunlight, theres a comedy factor and it's just badass. I love vampires as it is so to see this roughness of them rather than the romanticised version is great. And Severen is my favourite character. Bill Paxton plays him amazingly! The attitude, the look, the lines, EVERYTHING! It also has Lance Henriksen in it (even more awesomeness!) and I have a bit of a crush on Bill Paxton's character haha.
Next up; my favourite body mod:
I have had a fair few in my time, mainly piercings which you can all easily see my scars from - but I don't regret a single one. However, my favourite is probably my lobes and my septum. I love my tattoos but my piercings are my favourite. My septum piercing, I've had since age 16 and I really couldn't imagine myself without it. My lobes, I started stretching them at 14/15 and even though a lot of people are now retiring theirs, I couldn't dream of it! I had to downsize last winter due to my ears becoming sore and swelling and I actually cried that they both shrunk down haha!
Finally we have the newest, which is what is your biggest vice?
I don't actually have any vices. I no longer smoke, I don't bite my nails, I don't really well, do anything 'vice title worthy'. The only thing I could think of is that I get stressed quite a bit, but that's because people seem to think it's funny to wind me up and then that causes a stress induced stutter. That's all I could think of so sorry for that one hahaha.
Right, now on to recent activity. London first. London was amazing! I had such a good time and the SGUK meet was great! I got to meet some lovely people as well as see some regular faces. It was just lovely to get to hang out with so many polite, like minded people :) I also shot my set with @miro and I've seen two little previews, and from them I am super excited to see the rest! It was my funnest shoot ever, hanging out with two amazingly nice ladies and having a laugh. I've also never felt so relaxed shooting.
It's also Download in just over a week! It's been years since I last attended and I'm super excited for this year! A friends band is playing which makes it all amazing :) Anyone else going? Say hey if you see me and we'll get a beer or something :D
