I've been fortunate enough to travel to a few cool places in the UK and Europe. None of the places on my 'to travel to one day' list but still some pretty great places. I've been to Mallorca, Majorca, Ibiza, Belgium, France, Italy and probably about 2/3 of the UK. And although I've had great times in all of these places, my favourite has to be Italy.
I went with my school when I was about 13 or 14. We went on a coach, on a ferry and then back on a coach when we hit Calais. It took around 19 hours driving to get there but it was totally worth it. The views were spectacular! We stayed in this tiny little village in the mountains, completely surrounded by mountains and snow. It was the type of place where everyone seemed to know each other and every one was just so friendly.
The hotel we stayed at was beautiful! Like something in the stereotypical ski holiday movie haha. Every morning I had hot chocolate and croissants for breakfast (before I was vegan) and we went to all these rustic Italian restaurants in the evenings. I loved learning to ski, I saw a couple of wolves from the ski lift and we even got to ski over on to some of the mountains in France as they joined the ones we we on.
Sorry about the bad photo quality, these were the days when not everyone owned a digital camera and camera phones were pretty non existent
I really hope I can travel to more places and get to see more of the world. There are so many places I'd kill to visit! Thanks again to @rambo and @missy for another interesting topic :D
