Hello SGland, here I am with a new blog homework ๐ Since I love the Christmas period I particularly wanted to share with you something: what is the best gift you have ever received? ๐ For me, one of the most appreciated gifts has been the Nintendo Switch Lite. ๐
It could look like something mainstream, because I am sure anyone would appreciate such a gift. For me it had a very deep and specific value: I was going through a bad period of depression due to the continuous lockdowns in my country, I had started to neglect myself, to spend the days always the same as the others. No matter how many projects I had, unfortunately with the lockdown continuing (and we didn't know how long it would last) I was really down in the dumps and lacking in positivity. So my girlfriend @mads decided to gift me the Nintendo Switch Lite together with Animal Crossing: one morning I got this gift package as delivery, for me it was a huge surprise to see such a gift, first because I wanted it so bad, but unfortunately I didnโt work at time and I could not afford it. Secondly, because it was a really important gesture for me since @mads gifted it to me with the intent of making me happy and helping me to distract myself from the negativity that the continuous lockdowns had brought into my life, and it was also a way of being close to me when we couldn't see each other for months. This is why it has immense value for me and I consider this โa perfect giftโ. โค๏ธ I still love to play with it ๐
On the other hand, if I want to talk about a non-material gift, I would say I am grateful for being healthy, and for the love of the people who are close to me, who live in my life and who do everything in order to support me, in real and online. I feel truly lucky and have never taken it for granted. (Of course, you are included too into this list!) ๐๐ป๐๐
