I know it's time to update when there are more question marks than exclamation points in my comments..
I've got three raves for tonight:
1) Emusic.com. All the indie you can sink your teeth into, high quality, and cheap! I think i've downloaded 5 entire albums so far for less than $20.
2) the band Ida, downloaded on emusic.com Perfect music for the endless winter. Mellow, haunting, moving. Americana's version of Sigur Ros.
3) Rivers and Tides, a documentary chronicling a year or so in the life of "narture-sculptor" Andy Goldsworthy. His art, his philosophy, and his cold, cold fingers. His media are the objects one finds anywhere in nature, erected in their natural habitat, and often rendered "back to dust" as the sculptures are reclaimed by nature. Damn fine ninety minutes!

I'm moving in less than a month. Still no certainties on the other side, just more possibillities than I've ever recalled having. Last day at the coffeeshop is Saturday. Last day at the studio is April 1: April Fool's Day and my maternal Grandmother's birthday. She'l be 87, and would have been a Suicide Girl if this were her generation.
