Yes Kiddies, I promised a bunny love story, and since you have been so good, here it is.
Once upon a time there was a beautiful, if cranky New Zealand Albino rabbit named Satine. Satine had a brother named Cloud (the one on the left), but sadly, Cloud died.
One day, Satine's parents finally decided the time was right for her to have a new brother. So, they sent her to camp at Bunny Luv, a fantastic organization that fosters, adopts, boards, bonds, grooms, and offers lots more bunny services.
So Satine went to camp, and every day her parents called to see if she had successfully been bonded with another bunny. And every day they received the same disappointing message: "Not today. She beat up all the bunnies today." Now, her mom was very proud of the little scrapper, but her dad was getting worried. "Why can't you just find another bunny to love, Satine?" he asked. "It was so easy with Cloud. Maybe she just misses him too much." But Bunny Luv would not be deterred.
Then, finally, on a glorious Sunday morning, Satine's mommy made her regular call and recieved the joyous news: "Satine has been bonded! Satine has been bonded!" Karyne at Bunny Luv says she will never forget Satine. "I tried her with every bunny in this place!" she swore (that's over 100!). And who was the lucky little boy Satine finally fell in love with? A lovely brown and white boy, barely 7 months old. And of course, Satine only wants the best - this little boy bunny was already promised to another lady, and had a waiting list 10 deep wanting to take him home! Karyne tried to convince Satine to she wanted one of the other new bunnies - but she beat all of them up the moment she was put in a cage with them. And so she was returned to her little boy's cage (his parents are thinking of naming him Gizmo), where she promptly started making girly purring noises, then took a nap.
Please welcome Gizmo (?)to the family! Hopefully they will both come home this Friday!
